Rush Limbaugh Needs To Endorse A Republican or Shut His Mouth

As a regular listener to Rush Limbaugh’s radio program, I have had all I can take of his bashing of John McCain and Mike Huckabee.  Rush even has a series of parodies he plays on the show poking fun at McCain, including a very childish imitation of McCain’s voice.

I will be the first to say that John McCain has taken some very unwise political positions in the last couple of years.  I would not declare him as a liberal or a fake conservative, however.  McCain may not be exactly who we were hoping for, but he is a far better option than Clinton or Obama.

What’s the deal with Huckabee?  Rush is on a daily attack of Governor Huckabee.  Again, there are plenty of issues that we can find genuine disagreement with Mike Huckabee on, but he is certainly a better option than a Democrat winning the White House.

What upsets me more than anything about this is Rush’s Disingenuous position that he is not going to make an endorsement.  “I just don’t do that”, he says when callers ask him to come out and endorse a Republican candidate.

I am appalled at the lack of respect being given to John McCain.  This man is a war hero and whether we agree with his politics or not, most of us are not fit to shine his shoes (including you Rush). 

Rush, be a man.  Endorse someone and tell us where you stand and why.  Stop shooting at the good guys, and keep your powder dry for the general election.  Your listeners are not stupid, we know what you are doing (endorse Romney and get on with it).  I have endorsed Romney, and have done so without making personal attacks on McCain and Huckabee.  I know you can do the right thing before the Golden EIB Mic gets too tarnished.
